Who we are
This website is run by Saltra, which is run by MA Systems and Automations, founded by Matthew Agnew and Craig Ross. We are the data controller for personal information you send us through this website.
Questions about your information? Email contact@saltrasolutions.com.
Our enquiry form and discovery calls
On our contact page you tell us about your business and book a free discovery call. The form asks for your name, business name, email address, phone number, what you're struggling with in your business and what you'd like us to help with.
You choose a time in a booking calendar provided by Calendly, embedded on the page. To save you typing them again, we pass your answers into Calendly's booking form, so Calendly holds them with your booking and they appear in the calendar invitation. Calendly sends your booking confirmation and calendar invitation.
Once your booking is confirmed, this website's server checks it with Calendly and forwards your answers, with the time and reference of your booking, to our Google Form. They are stored in a private Google Sheet that only Saltra's founders can open. The website itself does not keep a copy, and does not log your answers.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, hold the call and manage our contact with you as a prospective client. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Please don't include sensitive personal information, such as health details, in your answers.
Our client onboarding form
If we agree to work together after our introductory conversation, we send you a link to a more detailed form about your business and project, on this website. Like the enquiry form, your answers pass through this website's server to our Google Form, and are stored in a separate private Google Sheet. We use them to plan and deliver your project.
Our referral programme
If you join our referral programme, or someone refers your business to us, the details go through this website's server to a private Google Sheet that only Saltra's founders can open, and Google sends the programme's emails for us. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is explained in the referral programme's privacy information.
If a business that was referred to us sends an enquiry, we link the enquiry to the referral so the person who introduced them can be credited.
Who processes your answers, and for how long
Google processes both forms on our behalf, Calendly processes discovery call bookings on our behalf, and Vercel, our host, processes your answers in transit. Their privacy policies are at policies.google.com/privacy and calendly.com/legal/privacy-notice.
If we don't go on to work together, we delete your answers six months after you send them. If we do, we keep them for as long as we need them to deliver and support your project.
Email, WhatsApp and Instagram
If you email or message us, we receive the details you send, such as your name, number and message, and use them to reply. WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp LLC (Meta), and our email is hosted by Microsoft. Their own privacy terms apply to those services.
Live previews of client websites
Our portfolio can show a client's real website inside a preview window. A preview only loads when you choose to open it. The website shown is run by that client, not by us, and its own privacy policy and cookies apply while it is open.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
Analytics
This website does not currently use any analytics or tracking tools.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email contact@saltrasolutions.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
