01The challenge
Mark Paterson is a filmmaker and photographer working in sport, fashion and documentary. He needed a website to showcase his portfolio, so prospective clients could see his work and get in touch easily.
02The solution
The design steps back and lets the work lead: a single, image-led page with a full-screen opening image, his two services, a selection of recent projects, an introduction to Mark and a direct way to get in touch.
The design is deliberately quiet: restrained type, generous space and a dark ground so the photography carries the page.
Each project opens into its own gallery that visitors can step through frame by frame.
Enquiries are built around how Mark actually works. The contact form writes a WhatsApp message from the visitor's answers, ready to send, with email as an alternative.
